Benicio wants to compare three scenarios: one with the current prices costs, another with the prices raised $10.00, and a third that reduces the variaable cost per unit by 5.00. He has already created the first two scenarios and defined cells and ranges.
Create a third scenario as follows:
a. In the Scenario Manager, add a scenario using Reduced Costs as the name.
b. Accept the same changing cells (nonadjacent ranges B6:F6 and B11:F12)
other two scenarios.
c. Reduce each variable cost per unit value (Mini1_Variable Cost,
Mini2 Variable Cost, VoiceXP Variable Cost, VoiceXPIO Variable Cost, al
Waterproof_Variable_Cost) by $5.00.
d. Create a Scenario Summary report that summarizes the effect of the three
scenarios. Use the profit per unit sold (range B17:F17) as the result cells.

Reading books is a great way to learn. Here are some of the books we recommend.
Go to the Product Mix worksheet. Navigate to the Data tab. Under Forecast group, select What-if Analysis dropdown and then select Scenario Manger,
Click on Add button and enter Reduced Costs as scenario name. Leave the same changing cells (nonadjacent ranges B6:F6 and B11:F12). Click OK.
Scroll down and enter 90 in Mini1_Variable_Co, 100 in Mini2_Variable_Co, 105 in VoiceXP_Variable_, 110 in VoiceXP10_Variabl, and 97 in Waterproof_Varia. Then hit OK.
To create a Scenario Summary report, stay in the same Scenario Manager dialog. Click at the Summary button which is at the bottom of right hand side. Select B17:F17 in result cells group. Hit OK. That is all!
