Insert a Total Row in the Dahl table

  1. Nico wants to compare the average asking prices and average sales prices for the Dahl listings. Insert a Total Row in the Dahl table, and then use the Total row to calculate the average of the values in the Asking Price and Sales Price columns.

Click any cell in the table and go to the Table Tools Design tab on the Ribbon at the top of Excel.

In the Table Style Options group, find and check the box labeled Total Row. This will add a total row at the bottom of your table.

Scroll down to the total row at the bottom of the Dahl table.

Click on the cell in the total row under the Asking Price column. A dropdown arrow will appear in the cell. Click on it.

Repeat same for Sales Price columns.
