- Min Jee wants to apply consistent formatting to the worksheets she collected from separate workbooks. Group the Chicago, St. Louis, and Minneapolis worksheets together and then make the following formatting updates:
a. Change the font size in the merged range A1:F1 to 16 point.
b. Apply the 20% - Accent 1 cell style to the merged range A2:F2.
c. Bold the values in the range A5:A8.
d. Apply the Accounting number format with two decimal places and $ as the symbol to the range B5:F9.
e. Resize the column width of columns B:F to 14. Do not ungroup the worksheets.

First, open your workbook.
Click on the "Chicago" worksheet tab at the bottom.
Now, hold down the
Ctrl
key on your keyboard. While holding it, click on the "St. Louis" and "Minneapolis" tabs. This will group them together. You'll notice they all turn a white color, indicating they're grouped.Highlight the cells from
A1
all the way toF1
. This is our merged range.Look at the top, see the Home tab? Click on it.
Now, in the section labeled "Font", there's a number box. Click on it and select
16
. This changes our font size.Next, highlight the cells from
A2
toF2
.Still in the Home tab, there's a section called "Styles". Click on the little paint bucket icon. A dropdown will appear.
From the options, find and click on
20% - Accent 1
.Highlight the cells from
A5
toA8
.In the "Font" section again, there's a bold "B" icon. Click on that. Your text should now be bold!
Now, highlight the cells from
B5
toF9
.In the Home tab, there's a section labeled "Number". Click on the dropdown where it probably says "General" right now.
From the list, choose
Accounting
. Make sure it's set to two decimal places and has a$
symbol.Click on the letter

at the top of the column. While holding down your mouse button, drag toF
. This selects columns B through F.Right-click on the highlighted columns. A menu will pop up.
Choose
