For the range A6:J14:

1. Click A6 and drag until J14 to select A6:J14.
2. Go to the Home tab and in the Font group, click on the border drop-down button (it looks like a grid).
3. From the drop-down menu, choose "All Borders".
4. To change the border color, click on the border drop-down button again, and then choose "Line Color". Select "White, Background 1" from the color options.

For the range A14:J14:

1. Click A14 and drag until J14 to select A14:J14.
2. Go to the Home tab and under font group, click on the border drop-down button.
3. From the drop-down menu, choose "Top Border".
4. The color "Automatic" usually refers to the default color (typically black).
