ΔX\Delta X = b-a/n = 12-0/6 = 2

L6 = ΔX(f(x0)+f(x2)+f(x4)+f(x6)+f(x8)+f(x10))\Delta X (f(x_0) + f(x_2) + f(x_4) + f(x_6) + f(x_8) + f(x_{10}))

= 2(9 + 8.7 + 8.15 + 7.15 + 6 + 4) = 86

ii)

R6 = ΔX(f(x2)+f(x4)+f(x6)+f(x8)+f(x10)+f(x12))\Delta X (f(x_2) + f(x_4) + f(x_6) + f(x_8) + f(x_{10}) + f(x_{12})) = 2(8.7 + 8.15 + 7.15 + 6 + 4+ 1) = 70
