take derivative on both sides with respect to t because we have t variable in the question,

dydt\frac{dy}{dt} = d(47t7)dt\frac{d(\frac 47 t^7)}{dt} + d(47)dt\frac{d(\frac 47)}{dt}

  • If there is constant (4/7) with variable (t^7), we plug out the constant and take the derivative of variable.
  • If there is only constant, we take its derivative. The derivative of constant is zero.

= 47×7t6\frac 47 \times 7t^6 + 0

= 4t6
